Market Update

Happy Friday Everyone 

Lemons – still extremely expensive, we are still using local, Queensland should start any day now.

Asparagus – all asparagus is E/states and the heat wave over East has caused major damage, prices are up, bunches nearly $5 each.

Apricots – coming to an end now, prices are over $15/kg.

Bravo – Bravo Apples are all finished, waiting on new season fruit.

Mandarins – there is some seedless USA Mandarins available, but these will cost $12/kg.

Bananas – Rains and floods in North Queensland has knocked bananas around, fruit is short and prices are up.

Brussels – local season has now finished, all Brussels are now from South Australia, prices $15+/kg.

Figs – Local Fig season has started, fruit is amazing and prices are great, full trays only, no breakdown.

Seedless Watermelon – local season in full swing and prices are great, contact Wes for some Bin specials.

Eggs – Kalbarri Eggs have put their prices up considerably, they have culled a heap of birds :(, maybe stick to Golden Egg, 600g Free Range will cost $6.70/dozen and 700g $7.70 each.

Grapes – Swan Valley has officially started, White variety will be Dawn to start with and are a great price.

Kiwi fruit – USA fruit is finishing up, and Aussie season is still weeks away, there will definitely be a gap this year.

Ice Broc – just waiting on local quality to improve, E/states is a lot more expensive, but quality is superior.

Mangoes – Calypso now finished, we will be using Carnarvon KP or R2E2.

Burpless – supply has really shortened up, prices over $3 now.

Spring Onions – prices are up with heat taking its toll.

Gala – New season will start next week, I have seen fruit and looks great.
