Just a quick market update

Vegetables

KB Beans – Unfortunately prices were dropping until growers lost crops by thrips virus 🙁

Ice Broccoli – supply very short with some local growers between crops, prices up.

Snow Peas/Sugar Snaps – most local growers done for the season, E/states produce will be $21 +/kg.

Tomatoes – we are on the home stretch with Carnarvon season, local just around the corner, fruit is very short, 1kg bags will cost more than loose N1, highly recommend stocking more loose.

Cauliflower – local season coming to an end, only small 12 counts left in crops, Southwest season has kicked in, unfortunately Southwest Cauliflowers are never as nice, and leaves will always be flopping and not great.

Fruit

Stone Fruit – Only very small volume coming from Gingin, we have Peaches and Peacharines only, no Nectarines.

Strawberries – Local fruit starting to breakdown, we will supply Southwest fruit when available.

Rockmelon – still very short in supply.

Grapes – Broome White seedless have started, red expected next week.

Blueberries – some beautiful local fruit coming in, prices have eased slightly.

Mandarins – getting towards the end now, next variety is Mystiques, which are hard to peel :(.

Lemons – have become very short and fruit will cost $6+/kg.
