Market Update Thursday 5th

Morning All

Just a quick market update

Gala – we now have local New Season fruit, recommend these over old season Pinklady, 1kg Red Bagging apples will now be New Season Gala.

Strawberries – these have taken a hit with the heat, we are paying more $6+ and sticking with Stella fruit, these are a premium line that grower does a great job. There is a lot cheaper fruit around, but smaller and will breakdown, if you want cheap then please specify on your orders.

Grapes – although Dawn have been fine and great price, tomorrow the first delivery of Swan Valley Autumn Crisp will start, I will post a photo, fruit will cost $14+/kg. Also ready for Monday will be Cotton Candy Grapes 🙂

Festival Lettuce – Summich is back picking festival lettuce if you would like to try some.

Bitter melon – we have some local Bitter melon available if you would like to try some.

Mandarins – Egyptian mandarins have now started, slightly cheaper than the recent USA fruit, USA now finished.

Apricots – New Zealand fruit landed today in 5kg boxes, Local fruit is done.

Kiwi fruit – next arrival of imported kiwi fruit isn’t for 2 weeks, so unfortunately there will be a gap with no kiwi.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Wes
