Market Update

Hi All

Just a quick update on this beautiful Monday morning.

Strawberries – Southwest season has now finished, local season has started, but not the better growers, fruit coming in is just ok, so don’t overstock please.

Spring Onions – extremely short, recent storms ruined some crops, bunches are small, prices up.

Leeks – same as spring onions, some growers have lost parts of crops, prices up.

Watermelon – extremely short in supply, very little fruit has come down from Carnarvon, and Broome only has small/medium size fruit, is going to be a difficult week for watermelon and prices will be $3.50/kg +

Blueberries – some beautiful jumbo local fruit coming through and prices have eased.

Swedes/Turnips/Parsnips – these are all extremely short, unfortunately we only have 1 grower left :(, there is just not enough to go around and prices are up.

Mandarins – some beautiful local Imperial mandarins still coming through, make the most of these as season will be short and sweet.

Oranges – Moora Navels are tasting great some stock those shelves.

Have a great week

Wes
